ABOUT TMRW

What is TMRW?

TMRW is a fertility technology company modernizing the management and storage of frozen eggs and embryos. We created the world’s first automated platform for the safe storage and management of frozen eggs and embryos, delivering peace of mind to clinics, doctors, embryologists and patients with cutting-edge technology that helps reduce the risk of specimen mix-up and loss.

TMRW’s technology is currently being utilized in fertility clinics across the country and is quickly becoming the standard of care for storing and managing your precious cells.

What is a biorepository?

A biorepository is a facility that catalogs, stores and maintains biological specimens – in this case, your eggs and embryos. The purpose of a biorepository is to store and cryogenically maintain (at extremely low temperatures) these specimens, often on a long-term basis.

What is unique about TMRW’s biorepository?

Since our launch, we’ve obsessively rebuilt storage from the ground up, with the highest bar for safety for frozen egg and embryo management and storage. We’ve created and are committed to a standard for identifying, tracking, monitoring, and storing frozen specimens that goes well beyond what is required today.

TMRW is committed to delivering safety, security and peace of mind with...

Specimen Safety & Accuracy

TMRW reduces potential points of failure by 94% compared with manual storage systems - helping to reduce the risk of specimen error, damage, mix-up, and loss.

Digital Identification & Tracking

SHIPPING & SAFETY

Is it safe to move my eggs/embryos? Will my eggs or embryos be thawed in the process?

Yes, the process of shipping frozen specimens is commonplace in the fertility industry, and safe. Your specimens will remain frozen throughout the entire transfer process. Additionally, TMRW requires the use of active, continuous temperature and GPS telemetry to ensure a seamless temperature trace during shipment. All specimen handling at the TMRW Biorepository is carried out by experienced embryologists who adhere to the highest industry standards with strict quality control policies.

How do I begin the process of moving my frozen specimens to TMRW Biorepository?

Patients may begin TMRW’s intake process by completing our short intake form at this link. TMRW’s Biorepository team will provide you with an easy-to-follow, step-by-step process via email to set up your account and guide you through the process. Our patient care team will be accessible to you throughout every step in your journey and work with you and your fertility clinic to organize the shipment.

How do I transport my specimens to the TMRW Biorepository?

TMRW’s patient care team will guide you through the shipping process, helping you coordinate with your fertility center and/or through a trusted third-party shipping provider. TMRW has local delivery options and partners with specialized medical couriers for shipping.

What happens when my specimens arrive at the TMRW Biorepository?

Once your specimens arrive at our biorepository, they are entered into the TMRW Digital Management System. Your specimens are handled by expert embryologists. Each cryo-device is assigned an RFID tag, a unique digital identifier, and then safely stored in one of our CryoRobots. Each step is recorded and attached to each specimen’s record - ensuring visibility, traceability, and accountability for your precious specimens.

Your specimens will be monitored by TMRW’s team of experienced embryologists and the TMRW Overwatch® technology.

Are my specimens monitored during shipment?

Yes! If you transport your specimens with one of our trusted and preferred partners, your specimens are actively monitored during shipment, including temperature and GPS monitoring to help ensure your specimens arrive safely.

Do I need to pay for shipping?

Yes, the patient is responsible for 100% of the cost of shipping their specimens to and from the TMRW Biorepository.

How is the TMRW Biorepository staffed?

The TMRW Biorepository is only staffed by embryology and fertility experts. The TMRW team has a combined 180+ years of embryology, andrology and/or lab experience and you can feel confident knowing that your specimens are being handled by an experienced team of embryologists with extensive training in handling cryopreserved fertility specimens. Our Patient Care team is there to help you every step of the way including - billing, coordinating medical record transfers, and organizing specimen shipments with your fertility clinics. Who has access inside TMRW Biorepository facilities?

Only authorized TMRW personnel are allowed inside the secured facilities to maintain specimen safety. Access to the biorepository is strictly controlled and limited to authorized biorepository staff only.

Will my specimens be stored with other patients’ specimens?

Your specimens are stored in a TMRW CryoBeacon, a cryogenic container that is unique to you and no other patient’s specimens will be stored in the same CryoBeacon(s). These containers are stored in a large storage tank that stores multiple CryoBeacons that hold other patients’ specimens, which is standard industry practice.

AFTER STORAGE

What happens if I need my fertility specimens for IVF treatment?

Should you wish to send your fertility specimens back to a fertility clinic for treatment, simply notify TMRW and we will initiate the transfer process. The TMRW team will help you coordinate the shipment, safely prepare your specimens for transfer, and track  your specimens until they reach your fertility clinic.

It is recommended you provide us with at least 30 days notice before your scheduled
treatment cycle to ensure the shipment can arrive at your fertility clinic before your scheduled treatment dates.

What are my options if I decide to terminate storage permanently?

You have full control of the disposition of your legally owned specimens1. If you would like to terminate storage, we have a few options for you.

Storage Termination Options:

Elect to discard

TMRW will send you a Disposition Request for you to sign and notarize. Once this is completed, TMRW’s team will execute your decision to remove your specimens from storage and permanently discard them.

Elect to donate specimens to another individual or family

There are various state and federal legal requirements to donate your specimens to an individual or family. A licensed and authorized donor agency and/or an attorney specializing in fertility donation can help you execute a legal agreement to donate your specimens to another individual or family for the purpose of attempting pregnancy. Once you have completed necessary legal requirements for donation and send us the relevant documentation as well as an instruction to transfer the ownership of the specimens, TMRW can execute the legal instructions to transfer the ownership of the specimens to the receiving party or donor agency as specified in the instructions provided by you.

Elect to donate specimens to research or training

If you choose to donate your specimens to research or training the process typically involves signing legal consent forms and selecting a legally authorized research program or training program. Once you’ve identified a legally authorized research or training facility or a clinic and signed a necessary form instructing TMRW to transfer your specimens to such research or training facility or a clinic, TMRW can execute such transfer.

1 TMRW will not discard specimens received for storage from any patient located in Alabama or Louisiana, regardless of whether the patient provides authorization to do so. If you reside in Alabama or Louisiana and wish to discard a specimen in storage with TMRW, you must arrange to have your specimens transferred to a licensed physician or fertility clinic that has agreed to execute your discard request.
