The Next Generation of Egg and Embryo Cyromanagement

TMRW Digital Specimen Management

As patient demand and access to fertility treatments soar, so do frozen specimen volumes. Existing specimen management systems are outdated, labor-intensive, paper-based systems.

TMRW Digital Specimen Management links specimens, software, and storage. Using RFID technology, patient specimens are tracked and logged in ivfOS, our proprietary digital databases that integrates with the clinics EMR.

Significantly Improve Clinic Workflow

TMRW is infusing modern technology into every phase of the egg and embryo storage process, significantly improving workflow and alleviating embryologist stress, fatigue, and risk—all while keeping frozen eggs and embryos safe.

Phase 1: Identification & Labeling

Once an embryologist is ready to vitrify and store specimens, they must be clearly and uniquely identified, able to be tracked and traced, and easily located for future use.

Without TMRW

Specimen labels are hand-written, typed, and then typically tracked manually with spreadsheets and paper records.

With TMRW

To ensure a complete digital chain of custody, each cryodevice is uniquely identified with a barcoded label and then linked to an RFID chip-embedded CryoBeacon that is redundantly labeled with a linear barcode and alphanumeric eye-readable code. TMRW technology utilized: ivfOS® Platform, CryoBeacon, Labware (Tray, Label Printer, Scanner).

Phase 2: Placing into Storage

Once specimens are vitrified, they must be stored at safe cryogenic temperatures.

Without TMRW

Finding and recording a storage location for specimens is a laborious process, tracked using spreadsheets and handwritten records.

With TMRW

Because TMRW has automated and digitized the cryostorage process, each CryoBeacon is automatically assigned an appropriate storage location, placed in its assigned space, and monitored in real-time using TMRW OverWatch®. TMRW technology utilized: ivfOS® Platform, Overwatch®, CryoBeacon, Labware, CryoRobot Select.

Phase 3: Retrieving from Storage

The embryologist must locate and identify the correct specimens when frozen eggs and embryos are needed.

Without TMRW

The embryologist looks up the location of the specimens on a spreadsheet, paper records, or the EMR, where the location is manually typed.

With TMRW

The embryologist selects which specimen they want; a ticket is generated automatically to retrieve the correct specimen. It is then verified and checked with RFID TMRW technology: Platform, Overwatch®, CryoBeacon, Labware, and CryoRobot Select.
